FAQs
We support your farm forward sourcing journey by building custom Made in the Americas supply chains, or plugging directly into pre-existing global supplier relationships.
-
With a focus on soil health and carbon balance as well as reduction in chemistry use our program supports growers in their transition to regenerative practices.
What sets our verification apart from traditional certifications is the technical support and place-based practice selection that prioritizers farmer input.
Organic certification requires farmers to pay for costly audits. Our program is free to farmers, with 100% of the premium going back to the grower.
Our technical assistance providers visit fields and pasture much more frequently then an auditor who would visit a farm once every 2-3 years.
-
We have a claims document that supports brands when making claims about CBV fiber. All claims are supported with place-based peer-reviewed scientific research and sight specific data collection.
We also offer brands marketing and storytelling support at no additional cost. The Climate Beneficial™ Verified team is here to help tell our farmers’ stories and raise awareness about the restorative impacts regenerative practices have on U.S. soil health, water security, biodiversity, and rural resilience in crop and rangelands.
-
A Certificate of Verification is issued annually to each enrolled cotton and wool grower in our program. These farm-specific certificates outline the individual conservation practices implemented each year along with related outcome data and analysis.
From annual soil test results to associated GHG reductions, this farm-traceable data is included when sourcing Climate Beneficial™ Verified and Transitional fiber.
